Speech and Language Therapy Services

Based in Matakana, I offer speech and language therapy services for people of all ages, in person and online. I am part of the Mahurangi Health Collective, where I have a clinic space in Warkworth.

I am a qualified speech and language therapist and registered through the New Zealand Speech and Language Therapy Association (NZSTA). I have a Masters in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Auckland, in addition to an honours degree in Performance Voice and an undergraduate degree in Music and Psychology. I am passionate about nurturing communication and building on the strengths that my clients have in spades.

I specialise in voice disorders, hearing loss and general communication needs. I can support you or your loved one with:

What do you like about being a speech and language therapist?

I love working with individuals and their families to support communication, empathy and understanding. I feel so lucky to be a speech-language therapist and to work with people of all ages, from all walks of life.

Why do you like working with older people?

I feel privileged to be part of each client’s health journey. Every person I work with has a unique set of strengths and skills that we can build on to improve communication and quality of life. I love working with older people, especially when we can get to know each other and I am able to hear their story. Through this relationship building, I am able to support them in individual ways that will benefit them the most.

Why do you like working with children and young people?

It is always special to connect with a child and the sessions are high energy, which is fun! My favourite aspect of working with children is to build relationships with the child’s caregivers and family. I learn so much from every family I work with.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to spend time with my daughter and husband, especially if we can get stuck into some gardening.

Individual therapy rates

60 minute session: $140

45 minute session: $125

30 minute session: $95

Initial session and assessment: Price varies depending on the individual's needs and scope of the assessment.

Group therapy rates
